With today’s hectic pace to contend with, your guests will appreciate the heads up a Save-the-Date provides. Save-the-Dates give you the opportunity to provide your guests information –such as date and location- but also to set the tone of your day and establish your brand.
Save-the-Dates are best sent around six months in advance. You may send them out even further in advance for a destination wedding or if your event will be held on a holiday weekend. This gives your nearest and dearest a chance to request vacation time from work, make travel plans and save some cash. However, avoid embarrassment and make sure you send your STDs (it’s okay, you can giggle) only to people you know will make the final cut on your guest list.
Once your wedding brand has been created, you can select from a pre-designed STD style or have something custom created for you. You’ll need to have your wedding date and location set in stone before you finalize your Save-the-Date selection.
